The A.I.N. started from 1981 with the first international Practicum in Rome and has been active and growing in numbers till today. This loose organization has been able to connect very motivated and experienced family therapists for decades. The work on professional handicaps and on the use of self in therapy have been two founding principles of the AIN.
The members of this network have been coming from all over the world to attend to Practicum, Metapracticum, intensive courses with Maurizio Andolfi. They have been extremely productive and innovative in expanding family and community work in many diverse countries utilizing as main resources their different cultural, political, religious and family values.
The Gubbio reunion in July 9-11, 2023 was the last meeting of the Andolfi International Group in preparation of the Assisi Manifesto.
