About us
The Family Therapy Academy (FTA) is the international branch of the Accademia di Psicoterapia della Famiglia (APF), founded and directed by Maurizio Andolfi since 1993.
From now on all the foreign activities will be run through the Family Therapy Academy.
Since 2023, the Family Therapy Academy has begun certifying Multigenerational Family Therapists (MGFT) according to the Andolfi model and affiliating Family Therapy Institutions that share FTA’s principles and mission.
Family Therapy Academy collaborates with:

- American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT)
- Asian Academy of Family Therapy (AAFT)
- Australian Association of Family Therapy (AAFT)
